Cyndi Doyle, LPC-S, NCC, is an expert first responder mental health clinician. Ms. Doyle utilizes research, her clinical expertise, and firsthand experience as a law enforcement spouse to educate and positively impact first responders, their spouses, and their relationships by educating on law enforcement culture, relationships, mental health, and resources. She is certified in critical incident stress management (CISM) and serves on the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, CISM team. In 2017, Ms. Doyle was honored to be selected by the Texas Office of the Governor as one of three mental health professionals to serve on a statewide work group focusing on mental health access for first responders. Ms. Doyle is past president of the Texas Counseling Association and has spoken for numerous law enforcement and mental health audiences and conferences, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Associates National Annual Training Conference and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. In 2020, the American Counseling Association awarded her the Samuel Gladding Unsung Heroes Award for her work with first responders and contribution to the field of counseling.
